Breeding Grounds

The place's purpose is simply described in its appearance and mood. A common brush of a breeze often sweeps over the land, carrying a fresh aroma of various citrus. No matter the season, one of the many trees are in bloom, their blossoms preparing to produce a sweet child. The foundation is simple, lightly shrubbed warm soil, high in nutrients from the treats they catch when a tree finishes it's season. Though towards the south, the trees thicket, their dead branches grab at locks of a wanderers mane. Now, most surely you can guess which sides belong to opposing alliances-or, hope you do.

Foaling Grounds.

Oh, yes. Foaling is what we all anticipate, is it not? When a new life comes into the world, ready to discover it for the very first time. To take the first breaths of raw oxygen. The cove is damp, cool and moist. Along the edges long, lush blades of grass grow. Dams may eat afterwards if they please or get a refreshing drink from the sea that is right outside the cove. The tan grains of fine sand on the bottom of the cove gives a good area to lay and give birth to a new soul. It's a miracle isn't it? Hm. Not to mention that the foal gets a glimpse of the beauty of life when it is born, for the cove is a lovely place itself.

Battle Grounds

Most commonly, this place will be found silent. Lifeless. When there is movement, when there is sound, it is never pleasent. Hark the blood curtled cries, the sound of flesh tearing, daggers digging into the cracked soil. The Sound of the few, small dead shrubs raking at the sides of the wandering equines. THey come here, to this deep, rocky crater for a simple purpose. To fight, fight to their furthest extent, which sometimes means death.

There is a time, of course, when all that has lived, must die. The land is of the deceased, suicide or natural cause. Death hovers over the blood-sticky soil, and somewhere along the blood path, a cliff drops off. Most would prefer this, as a suicide.. Normally, the drop of it kills the soul and not the landing. It's basically gruesome, but rodents and predators come to scrap what they can and that seems to clean up abit. Go on, have a quick death or graphic.

Dangerously deep and fairly wide, a rocky chasm runs through the ground, as if the land once a pathway to hell. Few way exist to get in, for the edges are dangerously steep slopes and cliffs, with barbed stones gnarling the brim. Tall lifeless tree's rake at the sky, the dehydrated dead branches sticking sharply from their base. The air is humid and warm, bringing in a common fog. The Stench of rotting flesh and blood hides all others, wafting about for the most part of the landscape. Toward the south, a small pond lies, being the only source of water. Little light reaches the foundation, for the trees and walls of the chasm fend of any direct sunlight.
